Dear Pirate Fans:

Welcome to the Pearl Touchdown Club web site and the 2011 Pirate football season! Our coaching staff, players, cheerleaders and dance team have all been working hard this summer in preparation for this exciting football season. The Touchdown Club is committed to support the hard work of each student athlete involved in Friday night’s activities. Supporting these students in the manner that they deserve requires much time and money. We are active throughout the year raising funds to support these student athletes and would like for you to join us if you are not already a member of the Pearl Touchdown Club. Annual dues are only $25 per person and starting in September we will hold meetings every Monday evening at 6:30 in the Fieldhouse. It is our desire that each student athlete is represented at each meeting. We especially want to encourage business owners in Pearl to join The Touchdown Club in support of our student athletes. The football team has adopted the motto “Together We Can” as they pursue the dream of a State Championship Title. Join with us as “Together we Can” encourage them, both on and off the field.

In the off season, two of the Touchdown Club major projects involved renovating the football locker room and purchasing the Pirate Tunnel, which debuts on September 2nd at our first home game of the year. Other projects that we undertake yearly:

• Purchase letter jackets for football players, cheerleaders and dance team
• Fund the football banquet for football players, cheerleaders and dance team
• Finance the printing of this souvenir program
• Provide meals to football players, cheerleaders and dancers, junior high through high school, at “Meet the Pirates” night
• Sponsored the stadium wrap banners for senior football players, cheerleaders and dance team
• Sponsored training camps for players
• Sponsored the Ray Rogers Pressbox Scholarship for two deserving Seniors

The Touchdown Club along with the Pirate Media Network will be broadcasting games live on 620 AM and Pearl’s own 104.5 FM and on our Comcast Cable channel, PMBtv 18. We will also be providing live stream video on the internet at www.pearlpiratefootball.com for each game with a rebroadcast on PMBtv 18 on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Pirate media Network will also be hosting a pregame show live from “The Cove” starting 1 hour before kickoff. Come join the fun as we tailgate in “The Cove”, watch the pregame show and enter Ray Rogers Stadium as we kickoff another great Pirate season. We are anticipating great things from this group of student athletes this year, please come out and support them!
